When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle - Edmund Burke

Martin Machtan lives with his wife, Barbara on his family farm West of Marshfield, Wisconsin. Martin and Barbara have dedicated their professional lives to helping Wisconsin people protect farmland and their rural way of life.

Practically, this means fighting against private equity and all of the dastardly, ghoulish carpet baggers, attempting to build intermittent and unreliable wind and solar power plants on some of the best tillable land in the world. We are using every tool at our disposal, including education, litigation, and the political process.

Our goal is to have the largest database of wind and solar contracts on the Internet. We also aim to provide detailed explanations and how the developers, through these contracts, take enormous control of the land and shift significant liability on the land owners, communities, and local governments.

While Martin Machtan is a lawyer, he is not your lawyer. The information presented on this site is for educational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Machtan is a frequent contributor on Substack . Machtan is also a dedicated cook, baker, shepherd, farmer, rifleman and student.

Since bad men have combined, Martin and Barbara are working for the good to associate. Forward!
